By staying with us, you're supporting the local economy
For every bungalow night we collect, we donate 5,000 Ar (1euro) to a fund that will be used in 2024 to finance our social and cultural development projects for the people of Belo, such as :
- The construction (2023/2024) and operation of a school canteen for the children of the Belo public school.
- Restoration of the Belo public school and the Antsira saltworks.
- Schooling for children
- Organization of sports and cultural activities in Belo (soccer tournaments, pirogue regattas, etc.).
This fund and the work are entirely managed by the ecolodge, which guarantees that 100% of the sums collected will go to the right destination.
The economic activity of a hotel must also benefit the entire population of the town, and this is your and our way of contributing to it; the 5000 Ar are already included in our rates.
Access
By land:

From May to November, the ecolodge is accessible by 4x4 from Morondava. The trip takes about 3h30 (100 KM). The rest of the year, no land access possible, the track crossing rivers.

By the sea :

65KM. Several possibilities: motor boat, motor canoe or sail. The journey takes between 1h40 and 3h00.
The ecolodge can organize your return transfers.
